A small field looks set to contest Saturday’s Prix du Cadran at ParisLongchamp with Thomas Hobson and Max Dynamite among only eight left in at the latest forfeit stage.

The Willie Mullins-trained duo finished first and second respectively in the Doncaster Cup last time out.

Andrew Balding’s Montaly is another possible along with Mille Et Mille, second last year to the sidelined Vazirabad.

Opening the card is the Group Two Prix Chaudenay in which Mark Johnston has left in Derby runner-up Dee Ex Bee.

Other British-based possibles include the William Haggas-trained Young Rascal and Charlie Appleby’s unbeaten Brundtland.

In the Prix Daniel Wildenstein over a mile, Haggas could run Addeybb while Hathal, Robin Of Navan, Oh This Is Us, Here Comes When, Ostilio, Glorious Journey and Hey Gaman are among 14 in the Group Two.

Addeybb also has the option of the Prix Dollar, along with stablemate Whisky Baron, Appleby’s Loxley and Knight To Behold, a winner in France last time out for Harry Dunlop.

Michael Bell’s Fabricate and Mullins’ Riven Light are also among the 16.

The only Group contest with no British interest is the Prix de Royallieu with Gavin Cromwell’s consistent filly Princess Yaiza flying the flag for Ireland.
