Lady Kaya is likely to be aimed at the Moyglare Stud Stakes on Sunday week following her fine effort in defeat in the Debutante last month.
Having made a big impression with a 10-length victory on her second start at the Curragh, the daughter of Dandy Man stepped up to Group Two level just a fortnight later and was beaten into fourth place by the Patrick Prendergast-trained Skitter Scatter.
Trainer Sheila Lavery feels Lady Kaya may not have been at her very best on the day and remains keen to test her powers at Group One level in the Moyglare on September 16.
Lavery said: “I don’t think she lost anything in defeat. I’m not sure if the race maybe came a bit soon or if the ground didn’t really suit her, but she’s come out of the race very well.
“We’re still on target and I think her most likely next race will be the Moyglare. I think she deserves to take her chance there.
“I think she’ll have learnt a lot more in defeat than she did the day she won, funnily enough.
“Hopefully there’s more to come from her.”
