Rajasinghe pencilled in for Middle Park return at Newmarket

Mon 4 Sep 2017

Rajasinghe is on course to return to action in the Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket on September 30.

The Coventry Stakes winner has not raced since finishing third under a penalty to Cardsharp in the July Stakes at Newmarket.

Plans to run him in the Prix Morny at Deauville last month had to be scrapped following a dirty scope and York's Gimcrack Stakes was also ruled out.

"His next run is the Middle Park, hopefully," said trainer Richard Spencer.

"He's cantering away and we're aiming him for the 30th."
