Fourth in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot, the Sea The Stars colt strengthened his credentials for this year's final Classic, for which he is a general 10-1 shot, with victory in a Group Three at Newmarket in July.
Trainer Brian Meehan said: "I'm pretty sure he will go straight to the St Leger.
"He will stay in the Voltigeur until as late as possible, but I would only take him there if I feel I need to.
"He is in tremendous form at home and I am keen on the idea of going straight to the St Leger.
"It was ideal to see the form of his last run boosted by Desert Skyline (third in Goodwood Cup) and I am quite happy with him.
"If he doesn't run in the Voltigeur then whatever wins that and the winner of the Goodwood Cup (Stradivarius) will get the attention, but I know what I'm dealing with and I know there is improvement in him."
