Three months free if Kauto Star wins

Kauto Star is all set to be the most popular winner of the season should he prevail in the King George VI Chase on Boxing Day - not least with any new Racing UK TV subscribers.

The evergreen 11-year-old is bidding for an amazing fifth win in the William Hill-sponsored showpiece, and should he create history, then any new or reinstating subscribers (Sky only) will get three months of their subscription (worth £60) totally free.

Clive Cottrell, Marketing Director of Racing UK, said: “Kauto Star’s jockey Ruby Walsh cost us nearly six figures with a similar money-back offer at the Cheltenham Festival in March, while going further back Frankie Dettori’s win on Authorised in the 2007 Epsom Derby hurt us an awful lot more.

“But if there’s one occasion when we’d be almost happy to pay out, then Kauto Star going one better than Desert Orchid’s four wins next week would be it.

“It’s a good time to join Racing UK, with top-class action from Newbury (December 31) and Cheltenham (January 1) just around the corner, and of course from May 1 we will be adding Exeter, Kelso and Perth to what will be a portfolio of 33 racecourses.”

The offer is valid until midday on Monday, December 26 – the first day of the two-day William Hill Winter Festival at Kempton Park. All 12 races are being broadcast on Racing UK, with eight exclusive to the channel, including all on the second day, which includes two Grade 2 contests.

To take up the promotion customers must call 0844 472 5777 for UK or 0818 776 779 for ROI and quote Kauto Star.

Racing UK broadcasts horseracing from 30 of the leading British racecourses (33 from May 1) and is shown on Sky 432 (UK, NI, ROI), Virgin Media 536 (UK) or UPC 411 (ROI).  The channel currently numbers nearly 50,000 subscriptions.
