Windsor
Royal Windsor racecourse, situated on the banks of the River Thames in the heart of the Berkshire countryside, is the only figure-of-eight Flat course in the country. The sharp bends mean that the focus is on speed rather than stamina.
Monday evening meetings throughout the summer are extremely popular while the main race is the Winter Hill Stakes. The racecourse is on the A308, between Windsor and Maidenhead.
