Southwell
In 1989 this Nottinghamshire venue took the brave step of undergoing a major development with the construction of a Fibresand all-weather track. Since then Southwell has played a major role in the British fixture list hosting fixtures in every month while jump racing is also still held on turf.
Seven miles from Newark, the track is located just outside the village of Rolleston off the A617, between the M1 and A1 and has a train station by the course.
