
With big prize money on offer and 11 Grade One races over five days, the Punchestown Festival in late April rounds off the National Hunt season in spectacular fashion with the principal players from the Fairyhouse, Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals all renewing rivalry in top-class races such as the Gold Cup, the Champion Four Year Old Hurdle and the Champion Hurdle.
The course is right-handed and undulating with flat, hurdle, steeplechase and bank courses. The hurdle course is 1m 6f and the chase course is 2m.
