Newton Abbot

This jumps venue is located on the north bank of the River Teign between Newton Abbot and Kingsteignton in Devon. The most westerly racecourse in Britain, Newton Abbot is midway between Exmouth and Torquay and is off the A380 which runs south from the M5.

Racegoers have a clear view of the course which is sharp in nature, left-handed and about 10 furlongs. It was first established in 1866 when the 91-acre site was purchased, the main grandstand was built in 1969.
