Racing UK's verdict
Tim Easterby's horses are really firing now and Regal Acclaim must come into the reckoning at the foot of the weights. However, the improving PURSUE gets the vote for William Haggas on the back of an eye-catching performance on his handicap bow at Yarmouth last month. The gelded son of Pivotal has had a short break since and, although raised 3lb for that narrow defeat, he remains dangerously well treated off this mark. The consistent Tortoni is proving hard to win with but should run his usual solid race.
