Racing UK's verdict
Vino Griego has been holding his form together well this term and sets the form standard based on his Ascot third in a Listed handicap in December. However, preference is for QASPAL, who showed some very smart novice hurdle form in 2010 and is rated 136 in that sphere. Philip Hobbs' charge hasn't been sighted since finishing well held at Cheltenham last term but looks an interesting chase recruit who is worth a market check on his seasonal reappearance. Brixen has place claims if reproducing the form of his chase debut second at Exeter in December.
