Racing UK is delighted to sponsor the Glorious Goodwood Leading Jockey Award next week, for which Ryan Moore is 11-10 favourite with Blue Square to follow up last year's win.

The leading jockey over the five-day festival, which starts on Tuesday, July 27, will receive a lifetime subscription to Racing UK, a £1,000 donation to Racing Welfare, a £1,000 donation to the charity of his/her choice, and a deluxe Goodwood hamper.

Racing UK's Commercial Director Nick Mills said: "We are delighted to sponsor the Glorious Goodwood Leading Jockey award. Racing UK has been a long-standing supporter of the jockeys and the PJA, as we realise the importance of their roles as ambassadors in promoting the sport. The sponsorship of this award shows our continued affinity with the jockeys."

As leading rider from last year's festival with five wins, Moore will wear the Racing UK armband for the opening race on Tuesday, the one mile and a quarter Heritage Handicap.

Richard Hughes is 9-4 next best with Blue Square to win the award for the first time, while Frankie Dettori, who has been top jockey four times previously, is 8-1, along with Johnny Murtagh, who won the accolade with an amazing eight winners in 2008.

Kieren Fallon has also being crowned top jockey four times and is a 12-1 chance to make it five.
