Oli Bell
After gaining valuable journalistic experience at the Racing Post and Racenews, Oli moved into the world of broadcasting, starting off in radio before moving to Racing UK. Before that, and in between, he spent his life as a full-time on-course punter and can still be seen backing horses at the track most days. Once he would rarely entertain having a bet in a Flat race but these days he confines his National Hunt betting to a small period in the winter and early spring. He likes nothing better than a juicy, low-grade sprint handicap as the medium for a punt. His nickname 'The Shoe' came simply because he has big feet.

She has been a long-standing columnist for the Times and Evening Standard, working as racing correspondent for the latter paper for five years. He has been a regular contributor to the Evening Standard and the Sunday Telegraph, and is the three-time HWPA Broadcaster of the Year.

He has also been involved in the coverage of the American Triple Crown and Breeders Cup. Read Angus McNae's Blog >>

Alex Steedman
Edinburgh born Alex has been a part of the Racing UK team since its inception and is a regular presenter on the Scottish circuit. Having taken the traditional route from local radio and press, Alex has been broadcasting for 10 years as a presenter and commentator on Sky, Setanta and Eurosport as well as on radio. A football commentator and cursing golfer, 'Steedo' is not often far away from a good night out.

Jonathan Neesom
Jonathan has been a member of the Racing UK team since its inception in 2004. He also compiles in-running comments for the Racing Post at most of the South East tracks and contributes to the Spotlights in the paper. Most of all, he enjoys standing in a field in some remote corner of the country watching and reporting on point-to-points. He tries to take an interest in Flat racing but usually fails.
