William Hill Ayr Gold Cup draw on Racing UK

Racing UK is showing the all-important draw for the William Hill (Ayr) Gold Cup live at 11am on Thursday.
The William Hill (Ayr) Gold Cup over six furlongs is Europe’s richest sprint handicap with £120,000 in prize-money and takes place on Saturday at 3.30pm. Current market leader is Hawkeyethenoo, who landed the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood last month.
The draw, which will be hosted by Racing UK’s Gordon Brown and football's Alex McLeish, will be closely watched by horse connections, punters and enthusiasts alike.
Those drawn high last year held sway, with the the first six home drawn: 12, 16, 9, 15, 22 and 19.
The leading horseracing channel (Sky 432) will show all 23 races from the three-day Ayr Festival which gets underway at 2.10pm on Thursday. Gordon Brown will be joined by Mark Howard for the opening day’s racing, with coverage beginning at 1.30pm. There is also action from Pontefract and Kempton on Racing UK on Thursday.
