Wednesday 12 October 2011

Racing UK will be on air from 11am and free to watch for three hours on Saturday, when all eyes will be on the inaugural QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot.

The channel will be broadcasting from Ascot for the first time, and Racing UK will be pulling out all the stops to ensure Britain’s richest ever race-day receives the coverage it merits.

To mark the day, Racing UK will be free to air for Mark Your Card from 12pm to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm for the live racing, which takes in three races from Ascot, including the Champions Sprint, Champions Fillies’ and Mares’ Stakes, and the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, featuring the mighty Frankel (pictured).

Anyone tuned to Racing UK (Sky 432) can also watch for free four races from The Showcase meeting at Cheltenham, and three races from Catterick.

The last three races from Cheltenham’s meeting – which marks the start of the Jumps season proper - are exclusive to Racing UK subscribers, as are the last four from Catterick.
