Mince flies home at Pontefract

Mince continued her rapid progress this season by winning the British Stallion Studs EBF Flying Fillies' Stakes at Pontefract.
The Roger Charlton-trained three-year-old was a good winner on Shergar Cup day at Ascot last Saturday and carried on the good work in this Listed contest in West Yorkshire.
Frankie Dettori's mount (9-4 favourite) jousted for the lead with La Fortunata from the outset before gaining a definitive advantage passing the furlong marker. Ultrasonic finished strongly for the Sir Michael Stoute team, but was a well-beaten two lengths away, with Artistic Jewel claiming third.
Dettori told Racing UK: "She's come on from strength to strength. She won really well at Ascot and has now won a Listed race, so I guess the next step would be a Group Three somewhere.
"The ground is important to her - she's got a very quick little action.
"Sometimes fillies turn the corner and improve, especially with the weather, and there'll be another good day for her."
