Lodge option for Dundonnell

Dundonnell could attempt to supplement his Acomb Stakes triumph in the Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes at Newmarket on September 29.

Roger Charlton's juvenile showed his 12-length win in which he broke the track record at Lingfield was no fluke when following up at York on Wednesday.

"He's come out of the race in good form," said Charlton.

"I haven't discussed it with them (owner Khalid Abdullah and racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe) but the Juddmonte-sponsored Royal Lodge Stakes would look an obvious target as he's not penalised and it's just over five weeks until the race. A mile will suit him well."
