Leicester called off

Thursday's meeting at Leicester has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
Clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson inspected conditions at 7.45am but was forced to call off the meeting after 11 millimetres of rain overnight.
"Unfortunately, the rain we had overnight gave us no chance. We were only just raceable yesterday and didn't want hardly any rain, but we are now completely waterlogged again. We need three or four days without any rain and that is just not happening," he said.
"That's fifth meeting we have lost and the last time we raced was the 4th and 5th of June. We have been waterlogged ever since."
