Hughes donates Racing UK Cheque

Richard Hughes was at York last week to present his £1,000 cheque for being crowned Racing UK Glorious Goodwood Top Jockey to the Retraining of Racehorses.

Hughes rode four wins at the meeting earlier this month to win the title for the third year running and presented his winner's cheque to Emma Balding, a trustee of the charity.

He said: "Retraining of Racehorses is a very valued charity which raises funds frto help support the retraining and rehoming of former racehorses, so am very happy to donate to such a worthy cause."
