Hasopop adds fizz to Solario

Tuesday 28 August 2012

Hasopop

The hat-trick-seeking Hasopop will get a chance at Pattern level when he lines up for the Candy Kittens Solario Stakes at Sandown on Saturday.

The son of Haatef has won the last two of his four starts in the style of a progressive juvenile and now steps up to Group Three company, as well as from six to seven furlongs, when he reappears at the Esher venue.

"The plan is to run him, but we will probably just check the ground. He has won on soft ground and also on good to firm, so I don't think the ground will be a problem to him," said trainer Marco Botti.

"The dam is by Ela-Mana-Mou, so he should get the trip OK.

"At Newmarket over the stiff six he did his best work in the last furlong, so I don't think the trip will be a problem.

"He's a very well-balanced horse and he has been working fine since he won."
