Godolphin swoop for Dawn Approach

Godolphin have bought a majority share in Jim Bolger's unbeaten juvenile Dawn Approach, the ante-post favourite for next season's Qipco 2000 Guineas.

The son of Derby hero New Approach secured his fourth success from as many starts with a determined display in last week's Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.

A statement on the Godolphin website confirmed Dawn Approach would remain in training with Bolger for the rest of the campaign and race in Godolphin's colours. A decision about his three-year-old career will not be made until "much later" in 2012.
