Certify so sweet in Solera

Certify gave Godolphin a fourth consecutive victory in the German-Thoroughbred.com Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket with a dominant display.

The Mahmood Al Zarooni-trained youngster (11-8 favourite) looked the real deal on debut here last month and took her game to the next level in this Group Three assignment over seven furlongs.

Savanna La Mar and Momalorka did most of the hard work from the front, but the Mickael Barzalona-ridden Certify and subsequent runner-up Sky Lantern always looked like fighting out the finish and the former gained the lead a furlong from home before scoring by a tidy length.

Bookmakers reacted swiftly and issued quotes of around 14-1 about her winning next year's 1000 Guineas.
