Alhebayeb heads to Newmarket

Alhebayeb could tackle six furlongs for the first time at Newmarket's July meeting following his eyecatching effort at Royal Ascot.
Connections of the Richard Hannon-trained youngster are keen to step the Dark Angel colt up from the minimum distance after he finished strongly to snatch second place behind Hototo in the Windsor Castle Stakes
"We were thrilled with him. He ran a really good race. We knew going into the race he wanted six furlongs and he ran a fantastic race. If he's in good form he'll run at the July meeting, I would have thought," said Angus Gold, racing manager to owner Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum.
The owner's Aljamaaheer may also go up in trip to a mile after he finished a close third in the Jersey Stakes.
"I'm not making excuses for him, but Paul (Hanagan) said the race slightly got away from him over on the far side, but he ran a good race," said Gold.
"It looked like he'd get a mile, which would give him more options.
"The winner (Ishvana) was second in the Irish Guineas and the second (Sentaril) is very good. I know the rest were quite close, but the form looked very strong to me."
