Kempton on radar for Here

Get Me Out Of Here

Get Me Out Of Here is likely to make his seasonal reappearance in the William Hill Hurdle at Kempton on Sunday.

Jonjo O'Neill's eight-year-old finally gained the big prize his consistent efforts deserved last season when winning a Grade Two at Fairyhouse. Previously he had been second in the Relkeel Hurdle, the Betfair Hurdle and the Coral Cup at Cheltenham.

"We'd like to run him and if the ground is good he'll run. He's in good old form, he's come back in good spirits and he just needs to get out there and have a bit of a play around and we'll see how we go," said O'Neill on Racing UK.

A competitive field looks assured with the likes of Australia Day, fresh from his win on the Flat in Spain, Brampour, Cotton Mill, Local Hero, Starluck and Prospect Wells all possibles.

Baby Mix is, however, more likely to run at Cheltenham on Saturday than take up his entry. Tom George's grey won the Adonis at Kempton last season but could only finish ninth in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham.

A return to Prestbury Park is the likely starting point for him this weekend, with George taking the option to keep him to his own age group in the Masterson Holdings Hurdle.

"He's got an entry at Kempton on Sunday as well but we are leaning towards Cheltenham at this stage," said the Slad handler.

"He has grown a bit and strengthened up over the summer - he had been running on the Flat in France prior to last season and this was the first proper break that he has been given since he was a two-year-old.

"We will play it by ear this season and see how he gets on in Saturday's race before deciding where to go next. He has been schooling over fences since he was a three-year-old, so we know he can jump, but we will stick to hurdles until we think we need to do things differently."
