There are many things in this modern world that I could easily live without but if I have to choose between giving up my mobile, Sat Nav or 'NagMe' account it would be a no brainer for me. The phone would be gone in an instant.
Sat Nav I could not do without these days as I have worked out I have saved over 300 hours by not having to ask for directions in the last few years alone. I give a big thanks to those NASA chaps for keeping the satellites floating around in space.
I also give a big thanks to whoever invented the Racing UK NagMe Account, as once again it paid dividends last night. I would certainly not be taking much note of the last race at Naas on a rainy Wednesday night if my reminder had not popped up to inform me that Man Of Erin was running again, but thanks to the Racing UK NagMe Account I have a couple of extra pounds more in my account today than I did yesterday.
With the glut of meetings every day now until the end of the summer it is a must have for any serious punter. Unfortunately I didn't put Man of Erin as one of my competition selections but I did have Great Run at 5/2. This horse won well despite showing signs of greenness and a high head carriage and may well improve again over further.
Back to today and the neverending quest for winners continues and my two main selections today are:-
5.40 Uttoxeter Piper Hill: National Hunt flat race, Donald McCain trains, Jason Maguire rides, a worthy favourite.
8.25 Doncaster Scupul : Mr Fallon rides for Mr Cumani, Scrupul looked all over the winner last time out before tiring in the final furlong, the long Doncaster straight and drop in grade leans me to give the three year old another chance to shine.
