Let Tekthelot take the lot!
12 June 2012
When a horse runs up a sequence of second place finishes, his or her resolution for the game often comes into question but my selection today Tekthelot (7.10 Southwell) does not come under that category. Keith Reveley's six-year-old gelding has run well in defeat each of the last three times and if you take the winner out of the equation she would have won her last three races by an average of 15 lengths. Distance and ground today should be fine and I am prepared to suggest that she will go one better today.
The changing ground and tricky cards don't inspire me to get involved with too much else today apart from Red Adair (2.30 Salisbury) for Richard Hannon whose stable is flying and whose horses often come on for their first run.
If you didn't know already, you can also follow your favourite trainers and receive alerts through your 'NagMe Account' so you never miss a winner, and it's free. There is no trainer in better form at the moment than Michael Dods, he is simply flying I am going to follow him until his run comes to an end and I suggest you do the same. www.racinguk.com/trainer/157-m-dods
Good luck today.
