I’m putting all my eggs in one basket!
9 July 2012
I am looking forward to later in the week when the July Festival kicks off at headquarters. Day one is on Thursday and Ladies Day and ends up with a cracking card on the Saturday. The July Cup could be a chance for Aidan O’Brien’s Excelebration to step out from the shadow of Camelot and I hope he takes his chance. Full coverage as ever will be only available on Racing UK.
I am going to put all my eggs in one basket today with my competition selection and my 'Lay of the Day' both in the same race, as I look at the 7.40 at Windsor I see the finish being fought out between Mr Cecil and Mr Stoute. Sir Henry's All Time got squeezed a little first time up at Windsor and should improve for the run while Proximity finished his race well last time but I feel he will need further than today's mile in time.
I have two new additions for your NagMe Accounts today from Sunday’s action. Izabelle Aimee may not be a world beater but ran six horses wide all the way round at Limerick yesterday and still won well, Magic Vixen is another late comer to the game but may well follow up if turned out in similar conditions in the next couple of weeks.
