Resident tipster

For the best show on TV get Frankie signed up ASAP!

20 August 2012

Another cracking weekend of sport was enjoyed again this weekend, with my top three moments being Hayley's Turner's brilliant win over in Arlington, well done HT. Secondly the return of the Premier League (I hope you took my 55/1 winning tip on the 3-2 from Saturdays Blog) and even Lingfield got in on the action by providing a dead heat in a match race. I have never seen that before - maybe you know different but it was great to see and great for racing.

Kieren Fallon was probably wishing he had stayed in the UK to ride Mount Athos, rather than going to America to finish second on Afsare and it was Frankie who took centre stage again on Sunday when he treated the Pontefract faithful to a flying dismount after winning easily on Mince in the feature race.

Now I would never watch one of those reality programmes that follows the Kardashian's or Katie Price around with a camera 24/7 but if E4 want to follow Frankie around on a daily basis, well, that would be a great watch!

I have a lot of racing re-runs to watch today but two obvious horses to add to you Racing UK NagMe accounts to follow in the near future are Luca Cumani's Spieta who ran on far too late but look full of promise at Doncaster and Roger Varian's Signor Sassi who was most impressive at the same track.

Good luck today.
